  1. Picture of a white woman with brown curly hair, face turned away.

I love that he is comparing the sight of their intertwined limbs to art styles. It is a cerebral and intellectual way of analyzing things, and yet it is at heart so romantic. A perfect combination for Spock.

And, oh, the bit about him having lost to a musical instrument is just priceless!

And boy howdy, all of Spock's eloquence is not serving him well here, he is just digging himself deeper with every word ... because he's been spending all this time concentrating on his own feelings rather than considering hers, and then assuming that his own thoughts on the subject are completely logical and the correct interpretation of the situation when they are absolutely NOT in the slightest. Bit of a blind spot there, Spock.

Oh, and the bit about her assuming that the conflict is caused by the HUMAN half--that's such a wonderful, understated line, and I love it.

The bit about her playing too rough--ouch! And the sad and angry chord!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE this fic, it's amazing.
