   Perfect early-season Kira! I love taking our established sympathetic faves and pitting them against a new character — one who can’t possibly know what they’ve been through or how they act. Kira is the perfect vehicle for this: traumatized, hardened, defensive, still angry and lashing out. Throwing Picard’s trauma in Riker’s face is harsh as hell, but it’s pitch-perfect for where Kira is at right now.
