   Boy howdy, does he need therapy! And if he'd gotten it, it's quite possible that he could have saved his life and sanity in some other way than running away to Starfleet--say, moving to the next town over and dealing with his shit and working to be a better father to Joanna NOW even if the marriage is over--that would still have allowed him to be in Joanna's life. But then we wouldn't have gotten him on Enterprise, and I'm glad we did, so :shrugs:
