Oh gosh, what an awesome opening adventure. I love that battle of wills between Pike and Saru there. How calm and observant Pike is. And how Saru is still deep in trying to figure out who he is now.
Pike chewing over whether to keep the crew together or not. He's so good with them that it's easy to forget that there are some legitimate concerns about how they function. AND OMG TILLY'S INTERNAL MONOLOGUE. The characterization's perfect, I could hear her exact voice. LOL!
Whew, though, that ending is intense. I'm looking forward to more, when you add it!
