  1. Ohhhh, whew. I get little B'Elanna probably too well; even thirty years later, I still have some of my own scars. But the desire to feel something and control something. She seems so lost, but-- I've also been there, with a baby on the way (then another later) and feeling alone and held at arm's length. I'm glad Chakotay's there to offer ice cream and an ear and a shoulder. But that last line's one heck of a kick in the teeth. Well done!
