Fun fact: William Windom was heard to remark that he didn't realize until years later that Decker was supposed to be Captain Ahab in outer space, when someone asked him about it at a convention once. I do hope the character shows up in SNW at some point, even if it completely wrecks the headcanon of this story. XD Although, Lord knows they'll be hard pressed to find anyone who can fill Windom's boots.
