Yeah, the musical episode is pretty fun. I mostly enjoy SNW but I feel like I should warn you it's extremely het - annoyingly so IMO - and unlike Discovery or Picard there's no m/m or f/f to balance it out. But the characters are great, and there's definitely stuff to like about it. If you are going to watch it I especially enjoyed the episodes "The Elysian Kingdom" (basically a fairytale AU) and "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" (time travel) and advise skipping "Charades" (one of the worst episodes of Trek I have ever watched, and let's face it there's some stiff competition).
