   I love vignettes centred around a common theme, and this is a great example of why! I loved Winona tell Jim about how she and his father got engaged, and I especially love how it makes her realise she should talk about him more. The way Jim is worried when Sam is calling him unexpectedly really says everything about their relationship. I love that Jim judges Sam for eloping but still suggests it to Spock as an option XD The last call is especially cute, with the jab at Jim for chewing on the chess pieces and the family banter. There’s so much love in their family and it’s great to see <3
