Trujillo still holds to her familiar old warrior's code in order to FAFO. I rewatched Yesterday's Enterprise recently so it's good to have a refreshed image of Rachel Garrett in my head....although she did appear to be one of those who made captain at a relatively early age. Maybe with this mission she establishes herself as a dedicated and dependable whiz kid?
Yeah, Trujillo has decided to walk into what certainly looks like a trap to see what happens, a dangerous prospect.
As for Garrett, as we know she has a significant career ahead of her, and aboard Reykjavik we get to see her take her first steps into that Final Frontier. I think she's destined to make herself an invaluable asset to this crew.
