   Wow, a very touching little story. Saavik, the child of two worlds, raised initially in a fractious, cut-throat culture, now finds herself in the unfamiliar embrace of safety. I love how you have her contemplating if this is what trust feels like. I've only written this character as an admiral in the 2320's, but this story give me a wondrous peek into her inner workings. Thank you!

      Glad you liked it! Saavik is one of my favourite minor characters, and her relationship with Spock is so interesting to me.
