   I wanted to portray a seasoned, tight-knit crew, brought back together years later like the TOS cast in some of the movies of that era. I'm glad that appears to have been successfully portrayed.

   I'd like to think of Sandhurst as Scotty-like, minus the childhood trauma. As we know, most of Sandy's trauma came *after* assuming command of a starship.
