Yep! Song Tulin is an original character for this fic. One day, we might write something from her perspective of events here (Jedi dropped into the Dominion War) but this fic is already absurdly long, so it won't be here.
Krell IS canon, and the result of all of us sitting there looking at each other and going "Okay, what's the absolute singular worst Jedi we can have her run into as a first impression?" Krell shows up in like three episodes of Clone Wars and you spend all three of them howling for his death. He is the Worst (tm). We only mildly altered his character arc here by having him run into the buzzsaw that's a Starfleet officer with a grudge a bit before the events of that arc.
