Damn, I was nearly a little resentful of Kirk too. The dude's getting married tomorrow but almost died for, please don't be in their vicinity right now Captain I feel like Mike might go feral and like. Try to run away with Jason during the cover of the night or something, lol.
Anyway, absolutely adored this fic. The characters were great, and so soft, and damn am I a sucker for characters being soft together. 🤧 Mt heart is forever in their hands, may they treat me well, *bows*
I feel like this was a short but effective view into their world, and obviously I'm thrilled they're both okay. Kirk better make their wedding super awesome for them though! Get them something nice! (Like an extra long honeymoon. It can double as sick leave! :D)

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the fic/characters so much! There are a lot of jokes about "redshirts" so I wanted to explore what the life of a character like that might actually be like.
