    Following in her mentor's footsteps, which lead to the halls of Starfleet Academy. Saavik, too, must find her way in a hostile and judgemental universe, and how better to do that than to join an organization focused as much on exploring the individual as exploring the universe. Different specialties, different experiences, but a journey worth making for the both of them.
