   I can't believe I only just realized that this line: “I’m a starship engineer who lost it when the Captain flew through a microsingularity.” is him aiming both barrels at Jim Kirk sitting there. Wow. I love that.

      Oh, completely and absolutely. Usually the story for the students is about a shark or alligator or giant catfish or something just silly. Jim Kirk sitting there? Right at him.
