   What a wrenching experience for this young man, to have come so close to achieving his goal, only to miss the mark and have his much-needed opportunity for escape deferred at least another year.

   All the high-technology, advancements in medicine and treatment of addiction, and still you cannot help someone who won't help themselves. Utter tragedy.
