  1. Picture of a white woman with brown curly hair, face turned away.

You do such a good job of writing the feeling of lifelong depression at the beginning of the journey to healing. Scotty isn't quite sure what's wrong or why, and his gut reaction to "my therapist is Concerned with things" is "so maybe I shouldn't tell them" rather than "maybe I should work on changing that thought or behavior pattern." and I just sat there wanting to hold him. But I'm glad he has found Corry! I also appreciate all the worldbuilding details, such as "why he's called Scotty rather than Monty or something like that."

    1. One of the reasons I started to write the AOS is because, although there is definitely differences in all the characters from their prime counterparts, Scotty—with his manic energy—seemed the most distant. And I needed to know why. I settled on an explanation of lifelong struggles with the highs and lows of bipolar, and it has been an interesting thing to explore with him. He faces it honestly, but there are hard days. So glad you enjoyed this one, it’s also been fun to borrow Corry from Steff.
