      Re reading this chapter and I’m curious, was Chester on DS9 for that incident or is she relating something she heard second hand?

        Genuinely, I'm torn about that and left it uncertain as a result. Love the idea of getting the view of some of the minor characters in that room (and just how obnoxious Dukat is if you're just having to exist in the same space with him, as versus dealing with the political fallout of his garbage), but I'm not entirely sure if the timeline works out for her to have actually been there. So it's a mystery and will remain so, even in my own brain!
