   Thanks again for the kind words!! Spike and her squad are definitely important characters, just as Hunter's tactical squad were in that series.

   Sakura is a director (and heir apparent to the heir apparent) for Nakamura Enterprises. The Beagle is a joint project, stuffed to the gills with super-secret cutting edge Nakamura Enterprises tech. Which is mostly really powerful sensor equipment, but also includes the (as yet vaguely defined) Doppler Tunneling Generator, enhanced tractor beam system and a few other nifty gizmos...
