   I'm assuming here the Alshain are your own invention, and they're such a fun species. This is a neat glance into the way their society works, and I love how consistent and unpleasant it is. Also enjoying the glimpse we have here of Ambassador Dejong--even though it's short, I like this guy a lot!

      The Alshain are actually the creation of my fellow United Trek writer DarKush, before the species name was 'stolen' by the writers of Discovery. They're endlessly fascinating, and I'm pleased you've enjoyed them.

      And yes, Ambassador Dejong is very good at what he does.
