Comment on Passing The Torch

  1. Interesting glimpse into Sandhurst. Even as a cadet he was a bit anal-retentive and maybe even a little OCD--I can see how that might rub off the wrong way on someone like Terrence Glover. The importance he places in that replica of New Hillbrow tower is interesting. And the beginning of his friendship with Pava. I especially liked it when he apparently took Pava by surprise with his philosophical insights--it took me a little by surprise too, to be honest.

Then, the seniors...the close and informal relationship the captain, CMO, and XO share with each other is being very well developed. I can relate to Evgeni being happiest in front of a classroom.

I'm enjoying this look back into Sandy's and Pava's past--it's like catching up with old friends again.

    1. Thank you for the feedback! There are a great many firsts in this story for Sandhurst, far fewer for Pava, but he's trying to start over with a different life path. All of this is overseen by some very seasoned officers who have become closer than family.
