   I liked the transition here at the end. It seems the paragraph starts in one place and ends in a different one altogether. As I said, something is afoot. But who will remain to be able to stop and/or undo this? And what's the cause? It's good to have questions at the beginning of a story. We've got the rest of it to try and figure it all out.
