   Love that Trujillo could realize and admit her mistake. Even more that Garrett (glad to see her, here) could call her out for the mistake. This was a truly powerful ending. Really enjoyed it.

      Trujillo can be arrogant at times, stubborn, and willful, but she's big enough to admit her mistakes. Garrett, on the other hand, is unusually forward for a newly minted ensign. They make quite the pair. I'm pleased you enjoyed the first chapter of this tale.

         Plus Trujillo used two words together at the end that my characters in another fandom use a great deal, and probably will in Borderlines, as well.
