      Thank you for the comments! Glal's the epitome of 'old fashioned' and at this time one of the longest serving members of Starfleet.

      I pictured Deltan brandy as being a light reddish color, like a rosea wine with a bit more viscosity.

      Yes, Border Dogs is one of United Trek's nicknames for the Border Service, Starfleet's red-headed stepchild (that actually gets a lot of the work done that SF takes credit for).
