    A great deal.

    There is a good deal of emotional scar tissue to heal, as well as the physical damage to her Threads and Links—things that make her Deltan.

    The next story will get into a bit of how her injury affects other people, at least in her mind as a commander.

    As far as T’Vari goes, it’s a little bit of conceit of my own. T’Vari’s katra resides in both Chan and Croft’s head. They can’t communicate with one another and she can only communicate one at a time. It’s not a half-and-half proposition either. I haven’t totally fleshed that out, yet.
