    I’ve loved exploring the effects of this battle on the small circle from the Academy a decade later. All of them feel it, since the six of them were so close, along with Kaylin who was a first year. Emma took a couple of years off from Starfleet, not just to raise her child, but to recover from her injuries and the trauma. She is slightly the rest of them, becoming a technician to earn her commission.
