   And Rachel gets her due. She deserves it.

   The conversation with Marshall is great insight into how Nandi has grown since they last served together, and maybe even since she’s gotten promoted. I’m sure that Marshall is gratified to see the change and that his first assessment of her was off base, at least in his second analysis of her.

   It is strange that the Tholian ambassador doesn’t seem to know what is going on, but that could be a ruse. The Tholian task force does seem to be a group of chaos demons—making them far less predictable.

      Trujillo knows her weaknesses, both past and present, and she's empathetic to Marshall's situation.

      And this, as we know, will be the first of many promotions for Garrett.
