Comment on Kiss of the Raptor: Strange New Universes

  1. Interesting, a Mass Effect universe without Commander Sheppard? Looks like V'lana and her crew might be looking to fill that void and oppose the Reaper threat. I can see this is an extensive series, so I better get ready for the long haul. A lot is going to happen here, no doubt, and I remain fascinated which directions this peculiar but intriguing crossover will take.

    1. One of the things I explored in later chapters is how important Shepard was to those around her and how keenly her presence is missed--as Dr. Chakwas once said, Shepard was our "immovable center were one could stop and catch a breath." What happens if that immovable center is no longer there? You'll see that especially with my take on the 'loyalty missions'. There's also a very long and subtle plot thread involving Shepard that will result in quite a plot twist--the hints for the plot twist are there from the very beginning if you look for them.

I'm glad you're enjoying the story, CeJay--it's like I said earlier, this thing started off as almost a lark and mushroomed into the over 500,000 word monstrosity it is now. This and one other story are the ones I really want to complete before my time here is done.
