Comment on Borderline Justice

  1. 21st Century Neanderthal Man

All right - definitely looking forward to this one. I don't recall seeing it in Trek BBS. Interesting population shipboard - seems far more diverse than most starships.

And a great action sequence followed up by a mystery.

    Thanks!! rbs

I've always felt that the Border Service held a pretty healthy representation of the Federation member worlds. TheLoneRedShirt's Bluefin series had Humans, Vulcans, Tellarites, Andorians, Rigellians, Bolians, even Orions. :) I kind of followed suit since I was using his stories as guides into the world that he created. In essence, I always felt like the Border Service served as kind of the dumping-ground/red-headed stepchild of Starfleet.

I feel like Lower Decks does a good job of doing the same within the auspices of the California-class fleet. They got a Kzinti ensign, too :)

I did post this on TrekBBS, but it was months ago. It's still being written, alongside the current story, "At Her Majesty's Discretion."

      Thanks very much for reading!
