I love the opening scene, showing Glal thinking he was trying to sleep. Then it morphs into the chaos of the attack, with Jarrod taking command. His wishing his wife was here to partake in the chaos is very much him (and her).
Helvia’s emotions at his own home, as well as Nandi’s thoughts on how the Romanii were given ample opportunity to do the right thing are also true to both characters, with again, Nandi showing concern for Helvia.
And then Em Severn and the Daystrom Institute. Great callback, then Rachel’s insights ‘do her credit’ as many characters have said in Trek.
