Comment on The One True Heart

  1. Oh that is a powerful image and evokes other scenes from Trek past - well future from T'Pol's perspective. I think of the scene of Worf leaving the Enterprise to join the Klingon Empire and his brother's side; I think of the crew lining Spock's casket from The Wrath of Khan too. All because of that simple act of a host of folk coming together to acknowledge the impact and the sacrifice and the legacy of the person they are honouring in the act. Something T'Pol is very deserving of and I appreciate you giving her a 'win' such as this.

    1. This is probably one of those ‘missing’ scenes that probably never happened, but should have. T’Pol was stepping outside of her comfort zone entering Starfleet (even unofficially, in the Xindi crisis), but moreso in an official capacity. The human uniform (remembering the one story we were treated to see that, when she became the captain in the alternate, ‘parasite’ universe), would represent that. Along with Archer recognizing that.

I think that the crew recognized that as well, along with honoring her commitment and service to them.

Thanks for the read and the insightful comment!
