    Yep, I love little name drops, easter eggs, and continuity tie ins!

    And like what I love about this concept (and why I'm drawn to yet another space seed au...yay) is all of questions that it brings up. There's the question of what's gonna happen to the kid, but bigger issues to. The way canon plays out, Starfleet could have just classified the hell out of the Botany Bay incident (which TWOK suggests is exactly what happen) with almost nobody knowing about it outside of the folks who witnessed it themselves. But with Marla going back to Earth there's a lot more people who are going to be in on that "need to know" status. Especially with one of Khan's kids running around and the whole risk/reward balance of being secretive or being transparent. And also Khan being Big Mad that his woman betrayed him.

    there's substance here, just needs a story...heh
