    If we can’t rely on each other, we might as well forget this whole Starfleet business, pack it in and call off the boldly going.

    I wonder how many times over the last eight hundred years (now) of Trek, our heroes have wanted to say this.

    Another wonderful chapter. Sorry it took me awhile to get back.

    Love the banter between the two of them, even though they are both in earnest about what they are doing it and why they are doing it. I think that both of them have found some measure of comfort, although it is much harder for Piper.
