    I really appreciate a healthy familial relationship. Strained family relationships are a bit to common a trope within ST fanfic. And I'm very much liking the very careful dance between Mondy and Leo. Beginnings are such delicate times.

      The County of McCovey Cove

      I know that I spend a lot of time on Leo's dysfunctional family dynamics, and that's not saying that Monty's family is perfect; you haven't met her little sister or brother, yet. The middle child is a civvie xenoanthropologist. The youngest is in Starfleet as a lieutenant.

      Definitely enjoyed letting these two meet and get to know each other.
