There is no pain! I got some body horror vibes from this, some pretty cool (and potentially gory?) imagery about the parasite, so although I haven't watched the episode you're referencing here, I still feel like I got a good grip on the angst and the seriousness. I don't quite get that last line but if it's a episode reference that makes sense, LOL. Overall I enjoyed your representation of Spock and also I sincerely hope that things work out what that parasite.
It is an episode reference! Kirk and Bones have come into the lab to check on not only Spock's progress on studying the parasite, but to also check on him, cuz he ain't the "alright" he's claiming to be.
