Comment on La Belladonna

  1. I like the interpersonal dynamics of the crew here. The way they're all playing off of each other as they tackle this new mystery. Ooof, though, beaming down to no lifesigns. Sheesh, not even the livestock but the crops? Am I wrong to hope for an exodus rather than a massacre?

“I am picking up very faint mycelial residue.” T’Vrel answered, “Very low concentrations.” Ooooooh. Now that is very interesting. XD

It's interesting how they go and work through the mystery there. Also the music on the bridge. LOL! Watching Eliza try to solve what's going on down there.

“Then we’re looking at another method of teleportation.” Eliza declared as her security chief approached carrying several papers in his hands. Mmmm hmmm.

I do enjoy Bateson talking about the prime timeline and drawing parallels to what's going on here. But whew, the emotion of their goodbye. <333 Love the familial, father-daughters thing there. Good work!

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm enjoying going deeper into both Zsa-Zsa and Eliza's personalities. They started off as support characters and have taken on a life of their own. I thought solving puzzles as a hobby would be something unique and unexpected for Eliza while also showing that she has a keen mind.

I am so enjoying revisiting Morgan--I didn't realize how much I missed him and Boris until I started writing them again. Even after both Belladonna and Bellerophon pass over into the main universe, I have a feeling that sooner or later Bateson will return.

      Thanks again!
