   I'm kind of out of the loop about the "distressing" stuff going on with OTW

   Long story short, information came out recently indicating that OTW/AO3 has severe issues technologically, bureaucratically, and potentially legally, and many people are now looking for alternatives. This is a decent place to start if you want to find out more.
