Oh, bonnie lads. I love the dawning realization and the love that's evident and yet also hate the lack of time they have to cling together and hold onto each other. I find myself hoping that their actual parting in the RR ends up kinder than that, because whew boy. Brian wouldn't be the only one wanting or trying to set things on fire. LOL! But I adore the whole idea that this won't be the last time; that somehow, they'll find their ways back together. I know at least in my timeline, sometime in the 24th century, AOS Scotty ends up briefly with twenty-seven year old TOS Scotty, but more time between the two when they can both remember? My heart.
Maybe not the prime timeline, but I love it. <333 I think if mine had words, that would be, "I'll find you again; I love you, I have to believe that counts for something."
Yes, I don’t know that this is how I want the RR to actually end either, but I suppose it depends on how things go.😆 I could see it going that way if the TID was like “ok this is as good as it gets, get them out of here before it goes sideways again!”
I love the idea of them meeting, maybe many many times. And then loving each other and looking for each other.
