There are parts of this story that were originally written for Contact Point: Union of the Snake. When it was not able to be included, I held onto it. When I decided to revive the series, I gave it a quick rewrite tailoring it to the Excalibur. I almost posted that story as it was. However, in making long term plans for the series I felt this story needed to be a transition story, so that the things I had planned would not take you the reader by surprise.
