Data looked at the face in the mirror. This was the first time that he saw his new face in the mirror. It was at this moment, Doctor Maddox walked into the room.
“I guess that this is the first time that you saw your new face in the mirror,” said Doctor Maddox.
“You can say that, Doctor. This new face make me look more like a human,” said Data 2.0.
“It was made to look more human. It was a good thing that this body was already made by your creator before he died,” said Doctor Maddox.
“It was a good thing that my creator created this body and that he trusted you with it. My memories would still be trapped inside B4, if you didn’t have this body ready for my memories,” said Data 2.0.
“What are your plans for the future? Are you planning to return to Starfleet in your new body?” asked Doctor Maddox. Data 2.0 gave it the question some thought. Should he return to Starfleet? He still have most of the memories of his previous body. Data 1.0 was destroyed saving his fellow Starfleet officers. Maybe he should see if he’s still good for Starfleet. Then, an idea came to him.
“I have a life ahead of me. I should see what the future holds for me before I return to Starfleet,” decided Data 2.0. After he said that, Data 2.0 walked out of the room to see what his future will be, leaving Doctor Maddox alone alone with his thoughts. The end, for now.
