Jean-Luc Picard looked out into outer space from the window in his ready room. The Enterprise E was flying through space heading toward a planet that has been discovered. He got a buzz at his door.
“Come in,” said Captain Picard. His first officer, a dark haired female named Darla walked into the ready room.
“We’re almost at the planet that we were assigned to go to,” said Darla. Picard looked at her. There was something strange about her, even if he doesn’t know what it is.
“Let’s see what it is,” said Jean-Luc, as he got up and walked to the door with his first officer following him. Soon, they were on the bridge of the Enterprise.
“We’re almost there,” said King, a green skinned male with 4 arms, who also happen to be Darla’s husband. Picard looked at this new officer. He has a good record, but records could be faked. Picard looked at the screen. The planet looked like an orange ocean.
“Is there life on this planet?” asked the captain. The science officer, a Vulcan male, checked his scan. He was trying to find signs of life.
“Captain, I don’t find any sign of life,” said the science officer. He goes by the name of T-Kon. It was a strange name for a male Vulcan. It was a name for a female Vulcan.
“I agree with T-Kon. There is no sign of life on this planet. The air is poisonous to humans. The surface is underneath what looked like an orange ocean,” said King. Darla remembered the air on King’s home planet being unbreathable to her when she first arrived on his home planet. She almost died before King went into her mind and took her over.
“I guess we leave a probe to see if there is life on this planet,” said Picard. So he ordered a probe to check over the planet. After a probe left the Enterprise and went to the planet, the Enterprise left the planet, and went into outer space. The end, for now.
